This program is designed to prepare students for a specialized ministry of counseling. It is designed to prepare men and women to serve as educational ministers or Christian counselors in a church-based ministry. The degree will provide a biblical and theological foundation for Christian counseling. This program will provide Christian counseling skills to address emotional and spiritual needs of individuals, knowledge to articulate the church’s theological heritage as an important resource in their personal spiritual development and ministry, knowledge and skills to describe the various styles of biblical counseling and their distinctive, and communication skills on biblical and theological truths through counseling and other appropriate means.

Qualification for admission: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

Qualification for graduation: Completion of 60 semester units
